Psychiatrist office:

The psychiatrists office will be set in a living room within my home. The setting will hold a very warm and homely atmosphere as well a slightly eerie. We chose to film in a homely room as a typical psychiatrists office appears very cosy and similar to a living room in a home. Comfy chairs and sofas are commonly found in their office, as well as a living room

Our other location will be set in a forest, precisely Hollywood forest. We decided that in order to demonstrate distinctive conventions our chosen genre,we would film in a forest, where there is a dark and evil atmosphere. Low-key lighting will be present, creating a mysterious atmosphere, keeping the audience engaged wondering what will happen next.We will be filming in mid December, giving us the advantage of earlier evenings. References to winter in literature may refer to death, old age, pain, loneliness, despair or an end. The season provides the setting for painful messages, as well as messages of renewal, rebirth and hope, according to Annie Fitch in an article on the Poetry Foundation website.
